Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing (v)
Ingredients
- 240 g ripe Haas avocados (~2 medium)
- 120 g light mayo
- 60 g distilled white vinegar
- 60 g fat free buttermilk
- 60 g lime juice
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp sugar
- pinch each salt and pepper
- 1 tbs water
Directions
- Blend Base: Add avocados, mayo, vinegar, buttermilk, lime juice, ranch mix, and seasonings to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Emulsify: With the processor running, slowly stream in olive oil until combined.
- Adjust: Add water to reach desired thickness and adjust seasoning to taste.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Chef's Notes
- This is a Chik-fil-A copycat recipe
- You can substitute buttermilk by mixing ¼ C milk with 1 tbs white vinegar or lemon juice
- Dairy-free buttermilk will make this recipe dairy-free
- Dairy-free buttermilk and vegan mayo will make this recipe vegan
