Hard-Boiled Eggs

  1. Boil Water: Bring water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add Eggs: Pierce the large end of each egg with a push pin, then gently lower eggs into the water.
  3. Cook: Cover and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
  4. Cool: Drain and transfer eggs to an ice bath to stop cooking.
  5. Peel: Peel eggs under cold running water.
