Poppy Seed Dressing

  1. Mix Base: Combine sugar, mustard, salt, and vinegar. Stir in onion juice until fully blended.
  2. Emulsify: Slowly add oil while beating constantly until the dressing thickens.
  3. Finish: Add poppy seeds and beat a few minutes more.
  4. Store: Refrigerate until ready to use. Makes about 3½ cups.
