Spritz Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 C butter (softened)
• 2½ C flour
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ¾ C sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp almond extract
• dash salt

Directions

1. Cream Base: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg.
2. Add Dry & Flavor: Gradually mix in the sifted dry ingredients and almond extract until combined.
3. Shape: Fill a cookie press and press cookies 1½" apart onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
4. Bake: Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes, until set.
5. Cool: Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
