Steamed Eggs
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 6 shrimp (optional)
- 1 C water
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp water
- Dash of sesame oil
Directions
- Marinate Shrimp: Toss shrimp with salt and white pepper; set aside.
- Make Sauce: Combine soy sauce, water, and sesame oil; set aside.
- Prep Eggs: Whisk eggs until very smooth, then whisk in water.
- Strain: Pour egg mixture through a fine sieve into a heat‑proof bowl.
- Steam Custard: Steam on high heat for 6 minutes.
- Add Shrimp: Place shrimp on top and steam 2 minutes more.
- Finish: Spoon sauce over the custard and serve immediately.
