Steamed Eggs

  1. Marinate Shrimp: Toss shrimp with salt and white pepper; set aside.
  2. Make Sauce: Combine soy sauce, water, and sesame oil; set aside.
  3. Prep Eggs: Whisk eggs until very smooth, then whisk in water.
  4. Strain: Pour egg mixture through a fine sieve into a heat‑proof bowl.
  5. Steam Custard: Steam on high heat for 6 minutes.
  6. Add Shrimp: Place shrimp on top and steam 2 minutes more.
  7. Finish: Spoon sauce over the custard and serve immediately.
